NTV7 has announced that Chermaine Poo will be hosting the finance segment of The Breakfast Show. This new show is named, “Chermaine Poo’s Money Show” and it will be aired on ntv7 every Thursday, tentatively around 8.45 am, starting this Thursday.

A Chartered Accountant by profession, Chermaine aims to share her knowledge and ideas on how to manage personal finance smartly and will cover a wide range of related topics including home economics, controlling income and expenditure, various types of investment and resources.

In each episode, Chermaine will introduce at least one simple concept or idea that will benefit viewers.

Trained in corporate finance with the largest investment bank in Malaysia and a Big Five international accounting firm, she was involved in preparing IPOs, restructuring, receivership and setting up a billion-ringgit infrastructure fund.

Chermaine won four titles in the Miss Malaysia / Universe beauty pageant before entering the entertainment industry. She has since become a popular actress and tv host and a versatile emcee who speaks fluent English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and several Chinese dialects, Japanese and Thai.

Her recent tv series, “SKII - Miracle Makers” and “Dapur Nyonya” scored very high viewership. The former launched her charity effort known as “Chermaine Poo’s Cupcakes for Charity” through which Chermaine hopes to raise funds on a regular basis to help the less fortunate.
