Chermaine Poo’s mini cupcake sold for RM10,000 for charity

Could this possibly be the world’s most expensive miniature cupcake?

Chermaine Poo’s Cupcakes for Charity project turned out to be a truly delectable treat when the actress/TV host/emcee baked 1,000 cupcakes in two days and sold them in less than an hour at Sunway Pyramid recently.

The icing on the cupcake, though, was a special miniature cupcake that sold for an incredible RM10,000, with the money going to the charity of her choice.

The generous buyer was Dato’ Raymond Liew, President of international accounting firm, McMillan Woods Global who made the winning bid said he was very happy that the mini cupcake he won could be the most expensive one in the world.

When asked if he was going to eat the mini cupcake that cost RM 10,000, he said that he would love to eat cupcakes baked by Chermaine Poo the celebrity, but decided to display it instead as it may be the smallest and most expensive cupcake!
